近日,由澳大利亚船舶设计公司Incat Crowther设计的双体船员转运船(CTV)——Incat Crowther 32宣布正式交付。该船由位于广州的英辉南方造船厂(AFAI Southern Shipyard)建造,最终被金海智造股份有限公司接收并投入使用,标志着中国海上风电产业的一次飞跃。该船专为中国近海环境而设计,其较高的稳性及出色的性能是其他同类船舶无法比拟的:采用Incat Crowther弹性船首技术,能够在浪高超过两米的情况下确保人员上下船和转移的安全;主甲板设有四个船员舱、两间浴室以及一个配备茶水间的大型技术人员休息室;船上还配有一台甲板起重机,能够在10米的作业半径内吊起2吨的重物。

Incat Crowther announced the handover of a new purpose-built catamaran CTV to Goldsea Marine & Offshore Engineering (Shanghai) Co Ltd (Goldsea). The Incat Crowther 32, built by AFAI Southern Shipyard in Guangzhou, represents a step change for the Chinese offshore wind industry. Designed specifically for offshore conditions in China, the vessel offers stability, performance and functionality unmatched by other similar vessels in the region. Safety has been prioritised with Incat Crowther’s Resilient Bow Technology ensuring safe landings and transfers during wave height conditions in excess of two metres. The main deck features four crew cabins, two bathrooms and a large technician seating area with refreshment space, while the vessel is also prepared for a deck crane capable of lifting two tonnes at a reach of 10 metres.

法国船级社与美企合作开发核电驳船

近日,法国船级社(BV)与美国核电技术开发商ThorCon签订协议,将就在印尼部署50万千瓦熔盐堆核电驳船开展技术鉴定和后续开发合作。与目前主流的铀基核反应堆不同,ThorCon公司开发的钍基熔盐裂变反应堆是一种可在低压下运行的液态燃料堆。该项目是将一座50万千瓦核裂变发电装置安装到一艘驳船上,然后拖带至浅水区域,并进行压舱锚泊,成为一座海上浮动核电站。通过该项目,可以实现向陆上电网输电,满足陆上能源需求。据报道,液态燃料可达到更高的工作温度,从而提高热效率,并实现非能动安全。法国船级社将负责包括核反应堆和船体系统整合在内的技术鉴定工作。

Classification society Bureau Veritas and nuclear power technology developer ThorCon have entered an agreement for the technology qualification and the subsequent development of a 500 MW molten salt nuclear power barge for operations in Indonesia. The concept developed by ThorCon is a molten salt fission reactor. Unlike current nuclear reactors, the ThorCon reactor operates at low pressure and uses liquid fuel. The 500 MW fission power plant will be integrated within a floating barge hull and then towed to a shallow water site before being ballasted to rest on the seabed. The technology will then deliver energy to the power grid to meet land-based energy needs. It is reported that The liquid fuel enables much higher operating temperatures, leading to greater efficiency while also enabling completely passive safety (requiring no action from the operator nor intervention on the power source to stop the reaction). BV has been selected to support ThorCon through the technology qualification process, both for the nuclear reactor itself and integration with the hull systems.

新一代柴电动力货船开工建造

Conoship’s next-generation diesel-electric cargo vessel in production

近日,由荷兰船舶设计公司科诺国际(Conoship International Projects)开发的新一代柴电动力货船在土耳其Gelibolu造船厂开工建造,预计首制船将于2023年交付。该型杂货船采用柴电推进系统,配备了ConoDuctTail®节能导管以及与其适配的大尺寸螺旋桨,并进行了船体线型的优化。据Conoship公司介绍,该设计方案还为后续安装Econoind VentiFoils®风力辅助推进系统做了预留。根据航线的不同,这一设计将每年减少约10%的燃料消耗和二氧化碳排放。Conoship表示,作为柴油动力船舶,该船的船舶能效设计指数(EEDI)已低于第3阶段的要求,并且为未来燃料的转换作了充分的准备。Conoship董事总经理Jan Jaap Nieuwenhuis表示:“为船舶加装甲醇燃料罐,用甲醇发电机组替换柴油发电机组,或者安装液氢储罐和燃料电池。这些方案的可行性,从概念设计开始时就已经考虑到了。”

The construction of the next-generation diesel-electric propulsed cargo vessel, developed by Maritime engineering company Conoship International Projects, has kicked off in Turkey. The ceremonial start of the vessel’s first construction took place at the Gelibolu Shipyard, and the vessel is expected to be delivered in 2023. The general cargo vessel has a diesel-electric propulsion system, an enlarged propeller in combination with a ConoDuctTail®, and optimised hull lines. According to Conoship, the design is ready for wind-assisted propulsion, as it is prepared for the placement of Econowind VentiFoils®, which is estimated to reduce fuel consumption and CO2 emissions by about 10% annually, depending on the sailing route. Conoship said that the design is highly future-proof as the Energy Efficiency Design Index (EEDI) of the vessel as calculated as a diesel-driven vessel is already below the phase 3 requirements, and additional elements of the design arrangement facilitate a switch to future fuels. Jan Jaap Nieuwenhuis, Managing Director at Conoship, explained: “For example, take off the generators and replace them with a methanol power generator set, and then put in methanol tanks as well, or take them off completely, and put on liquid hydrogen tanks and fuel cells. All these redesign possibilities were taken into account from the beginning of the conceptual design process.”
