世界首艘液化二氧化碳运输船下水

World’s 1st liquid CO2 carrier intended for CCUS launched

3月28日,日本三菱重工集团旗下三菱造船建造的世界上第一艘用于碳捕获、利用和储存(CCUS)的液化二氧化碳(LCO2)运输试验船成功下水,下水仪式在三菱重工下关造船所的江浦工场举行。该试验船船长72米,船宽12.5米,储罐容量1450立方米,配备了由日本工程振兴协会(ENAA)研发的液化CO2储罐系统。建成后,该船将用于CCUS研究开发及相关示范项目的液态二氧化碳运输工作。

Japanese shipbuilder Mitsubishi Shipbuilding, part of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) Group, has launched a liquefied CO2 transportation demonstration test ship intended for carbon capture, utilization and storage (CCUS). On March 28, the launching ceremony for the LCO2 carrier was held at the Shimonoseki Shipyard of Mitsubishi Shipbuilding Corporation. The demonstration test vessel has a tank capacity of 1,450 cbm, a length of 72 meters, and a beam of 12.5 meters. Its hull will be equipped with the liquefied CO2 tank system researched and developed by the Engineering Advancement Association of Japan (ENAA). After completion, the demonstration test ship will be engaged in liquefied CO2 transportation for the CCUS R&D and demonstration-related project.

Japanese carrier Ocean Network Express (ONE) has become joint-owner of the world’s largest non-operating containership owner, Seaspan Corp, in a $10.9bn deal. In an announcement of the completion of the acquisition of Seaspan parent Atlas Corp, by Poseidon Acquisition Corp, ONE and partners, ONE said it now owned 28.7% of the now private company. According to Alphaliner, Seaspan has a fleet of 137 vessels, with a capacity of 1.25m TEU, which it leases to liner operators on long-term charters. Were it not a non-operating owner (NOO), it would rank eighth in the carrier league table, behind new joint-owner ONE’s 1.5m TEU. Moreover, Seaspan had a “massive” 57 ships on order that would provide a further 690,000 TEU.


荷兰完成全球最大海上风电制氢项目选址工作

荷兰政府已选定瓦登群岛北部(Ten noorden van de Waddeneilanden)地区来建设全球最大的海上风电制氢项目。据悉,该项目计划于2031年左右投入运营,能够提供约500兆瓦的电解能力,是海上制氢的首次大规模应用。荷兰政府还将改造该地区现有的天然气管道用于运输绿色氢气。Ten noorden van de Waddenilanden绿氢项目是首个接入Gasunie公司海上氢气运输管网的项目,Gasunie是一家荷兰的天然气管网运营商,该公司希望将海上制得的氢气运输上岸,并连接到陆上氢气管网。

The Dutch government has designated an area to develop the world’s largest offshore hydrogen production project at Ten noorden van de Waddeneilanden - the North of the Wadden Islands. The project, which is said to mark the first application of offshore hydrogen production on a large scale, is planned to have 500 MW of electrolysis capacity and be operational around 2031. An existing natural gas pipeline in proximity could be reused for taking the generated green hydrogen to land. The Ten noorden van de Waddeneilanden green hydrogen project will be the first that connects to Gasunie’s offshore hydrogen transport network, planned to be built to bring large quantities of hydrogen ashore and to connect to the onshore hydrogen network.

3月28日,韩国船级社(KR)与软件巨头微软(韩国)公司签订了一份关于数字化转型的谅解备忘录(MOU),旨在利用第四次工业革命的核心技术提高其数字化水平,引领造船业和航运业的数字化转型。据悉,两家公司将成立一个联合工作小组,在数字转型项目上进行合作,包括重点开发云转换、人工智能(AI)等技术,升级基于微软Azure智能的数字办公平台。韩国船级社董事长兼首席执行官Lee Hyung-chul表示:“我们计划运用云技术创新数字化工作场景,创造灵活的工作环境,以提高工作效率。”

Korean Register (KR) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Microsoft Korea on 28 March to collaborate on digital transformation and enhance their technological capabilities, with the aim of leading the digital transformation of the shipbuilding and maritime industry by leveraging fourth industrial revolution technologies. Through this partnership, a joint working group between the two companies will be established to collaborate on digital transformation projects. It will focus on Cloud Conversion technology, artificial intelligence (AI) technology development, and digital workplace platform upgrades based on Microsoft Azure. “We plan to implement cloud technology in our system and introduce innovation in our offices by activating digital workplaces to improve productivity and create a flexible work environment, ”said LEE Hyungchul, KR Chairman & CEO.
